OH, ALSO

We wish to make it clear that the title of our most recent song has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FILM OF THE SAME NAME. While we have no real reason to believe there is anything that wrong with Robert Pattinson's person, we do not in any way support the fanship he (or the way in which he is marketed) incurs. I can't speak for Sof but personally, having seen the first two films for reasons I can't really get my head around, I think the Twilight franchise is the devil and anyone associated with it has severely impaired judgement. On the plus side, here is a funny article-thing about terrible Twilight merchandise.

But, to return to the point, we do not want anyone to associate our music with the film or the man.

Finally, this is hilarious and encompasses both the topics of this post and our undying love for Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Realbai!

Hello, friendos! I thought I should post some sort of explanation as to why we are no longer feverishly updating our every output daily - WE HAVE BOTH GONE TO OUR RESPECTIVE HOME TOWNS. Sof is living the high life in London and I am banging my head against a brick wall in Bristol. (Not really, I'm having a lovely time. I play The Sims 3 EVERY DAY.)

Mostly I make attractive lesbians and live vicariously through them.

Anyway, it's a bit annoying that, just after we both simultaneously became more dedicated than ever before to self-promotion, we have been cruelly separated, but we'll both be back in two or three weeks and hopefully we'll continue. Before we left Leeds we started working on the new song I mentioned before - we decided to take it the other way and, rather than grungy and grumpy, make it happy and folksy and cute. It's currently like The Murmurs with occasional Rocky Horror Picture Show/Garbage spasms. We hope you enjoy it. In the meantime:

Bai! See you bassoon!

Hello, friendos!

HELLO FRIENDS

This is Liz. I thought I should probably write something to commemorate the beginning of our new era of productivity and increased online presence - apparently it's a way to get fans? And gigs? We NEED to play a gig. Anyway, HI.

Life in Camp Amazon Molly is less fast-paced than yesterday, but still very exciting. We found a ravenous kitten outside our house last night and he came in for some tuna; a trip to the vet's confirmed that he's a boy and he isn't microchipped, so we're looking after him for now and putting up 'found' signs tomorrow. I secretly don't want anyone to claim him because he is the cutest thing EVERRR. (Pictures to follow. He's like a little brown tiger!) But it has been pointed out that we don't live in a good area for cats - traffic, silly drunk students, etc - and maybe it would be better to hand him over to the RSPCA if the owners don't come forward for him; he's young and ridiculously appealing so would probably be snapped up quickly by people who are better placed to care for him than we are. But! I want this to work out! Everyone at team Am-Mo does. I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

In less feral matters, I got an idea for a song in the shower today. You'll have to wait for more details because I haven't written it yet and don't know if I can really advertise it (even though that is kind of what I am doing), but essentially I think it's going to be a bitch about 'gold star' and associated privileges/presumptions. I want it to be an L7-style grr RAWR affair. We shall see. Should probs actually write lyrics rather than just talk about them/their lack of existence.

Nice meeting you!

TLND

Amazon Molly LOVE blogging. Apart from writing songs and spending thyme together, blogging was one of the main reasons for starting a band. It became quite the tradition on Myspace, usually after recording/writing each new song. VERY tiring, but VERY hilar.

Having gone on a somewhat unspoken hiatus, we're Bach, guys. And we're blogging. Like you've never seen before. An inspired band practice today led to the revamp of all our internet sites and a new song! It's called 'Remember Me?!'. You know where to listen.

Liz INSISTED that we have a 'photo shoot' to commemorate our Very Productive Day, and so I have included the 'best' ones here. Since I was having a bad face day I have tried to distract potential viewers by going for a Juliette Lewis inspired do.

That one turned out creepier than I anticipated. SORRY. Anyway, happy reading everyone! We will try to update regularly and be as hilar as possible.
